Seismic specialists are keeping an eye on the Alcorcón district of Madrid, top candidate for the Eurovegas project, as a continuing series of minor earth tremors is registered

Early in the morning on the 22 June 2012 the good folks in the Fuenlabrada district in the South West of Madrid probably slept soundly as an earth tremor of 1.6 on the Richter scale gently burred their beds. This was the start of a cycle of small quakes (around magnitude two on the scale) throughout the South of Madrid and since then 29 tremors have been recorded.

Voodoo rituals on the rise in Madrid

According to a report in Madrid's free newspaper 20 minutos, people who use some of Madrid's best known parks (including Retiro, Madrid-Río and Casa de Campo) are noticing an increasing amount of left-overs from voodoo and other esoteric ceremonies.
